Why so salty? The world can be a bitter place, so it’s important that we all keep a little saltiness about us. Salt & Rhyme is an ever-growing collection of thoughtful observations and spirit-directed truths born from Scripture, conversation, and prayer.

Never be content with a truth you cannot defend, or a lie that you must contend. We must always live as a salty addition to this bitter world, never as idle consumers. As my favorite author once said,

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.” Jesus [Matthew 5:13]
